Ballo is on RSCA's radar

TRANSFERS According to the Austrian press, RSC Anderlecht has shown interest in Thierno Ballo, who plays for Wolfsberger AC. Ballo is a 22-year-old attacking midfielder who can also play as a striker and left flank. He previously played for Bayer Leverkussen, Cologne and Chelsea before ending up at Wolfsberger AC. Ballo scored thirteen goals and provided four assists in thirty games during last season.


Ballo has both Ivorian and Austrian citizenship and has been called up for all of Austria's youth teams, but has not yet appeared in action for the first team.

RSC Anderlecht has contacted Ballo, but they are not the only interested party: Nantes has also shown interest. Wolfsberger AC is asking three million euros for the player, whose contract runs until June 2025.
