Interest in Pellegrino

TRANSFERS According to the South American press, RSC Anderlecht is showing interest in Argentine defender Marco Pellegrino, who is owned by AC Milan. Pellegrino, a 21-year-old central defender who can also play as a defensive midfielder, was trained at Platense in Argentina before moving to AC Milan in 2023 and then being loaned out to Salernitana. He has played 13 games this season, accounting for 782 minutes on the pitch. Pellegrino has made three appearances for the Argentina U23 team and holds both Italian and Argentine nationality.


His contract at AC Milan expires in June 2028 and his value is estimated at 3.5 million euros. In addition to Empoli, Argentine club Independiente is also showing interest in Pellegrino. Independiente seems most determined to bring in the defender. Pellegrino himself is mainly looking for more playing time than he got at Salernitana.
