Results international games Friday night

GAMES Friday night was game day for five Anderlecht players with their national team. How it went for them, you can read here.


Jan Vertonghen played the whole game for the Red Devils against Austria. Belgium won 2-3 and is thus sure of participation in the European Championship in France next year. Zeno Debast remained on the bench.

At the Belgian U21, Mario Stroeykens was allowed to come in in the 77th minute against Malta. Marco Kana, who was included in the selection at the last minute, remained on the bench. Belgium won 0-2 and has six out of six after two European Championship qualifiers.

Amadou Diawara's Guinea played a friendly game against Guinea-Bissau. Diawara filled in after 80 minutes. Guinea won 1-0.
