OTHER The attentive supporter may have seen it on Sunday: the playing field of the Lotto Park is not looking too good. Apparently the turf was hit by a disease this summer. Union coach Alexander Blessin revealed that. Union will play a European game in the Lotto Park tonight.

The Lotto Park has had an intense week. Last Sunday Anderlecht played against Westerlo and next Sunday Charleroi will visit. In between, Lotto Park will be the place for Union's European qualifier tonight. Against Lugano, the Unionists are looking for a place in the group stage of the Europa League.

However, the Anderlecht field is not perfect. "The groundskeeper came to tell me that the turf was affected by a disease this summer," Union coach Blessin said at his press conference leading up to the game.

"It's always a pity not being able to play such an important match on a perfect pitch, but that's no excuse. The situation is the same for both teams. We take things as they are and are very happy that we have our to play a match."
