European campaign starts on August 5

OTHER Due to the fourth place in the final ranking, Anderlecht have to start in the third preliminary round of the Conference League. On July 26, Anderlecht will know who will be the opponent in this. The games are scheduled on August 5 and 12.


If Anderlecht survives the third preliminary round, it will play a play-off match for a place in the group stage on 19 and 26 August. The group stage contains of six matches and runs from September 16 to December 9.

In the preliminary rounds of the Conference League, there is a champion track and a non-champion track. 52 clubs participate in the third qualifying round for non-champions. 45 clubs that come through from the second heat and seven new ones. Besides Anderlecht, these are Rubin Kazan (Russian), Vitesse (Ned), Kolos Kovalivka (Oek), Trabzonspor (Tur), LASK Linz (Oos) and Paços de Fereira (Por).
