No Vanden Borre against Liverpool

Coach Franky Vercauteren will go with a squad of 20 players to Liverpool. Anthony Vanden Borre will stay in Belgium. He still has a thight contracture and is not able to play.


Bart Goor (shoulder injury) is back again and will make the trip, the same counts for Hannu Tihinen and Roland Juhasz. Vincent Kompany will not play either, although his back injury is much better. He will join the group Thursday, but Vercauteren stays careful: "It looks good, but we have to wait a little longer".
