Coach Franky Vercauteren was very disappointed after the 0-1 defeat against Liverpool. It is the third loss in a row in the Champions League, and always with the same score. But he underlined that they played a good game.

"The only problem is we don't have any luck. Rafa Benitez, the coach of Liverpool, was happy with this victory. He admitted it was no easy game for them. He hoped to score one more goal, because Anderlecht kept them under pressure.

Mark De Man was also disappointed. He stated that Anderlecht deserved more than this defeat. Assistant-coach Glen De Boeck was happy with the performance, but he admitted they just don't manage to score. Bart Goor blamed himself, because he missed a great opportunity to score.
