Franky Vercauteren expects that Liverpool will play defensively against Anderlecht on Wednesday. "I know their coach, Rafael Benitez. 90% of the time he is thinking about defending."

"They are satisfied with 35% of ball possession. We will have to be creatively. Liverpool does not play like the winner of the Champions League. But they did win in Betis", Vercauteren states.

"I am not happy with a narrow defeat. This is a decisive game if we still want to play a role in this group."

"When will we be able to win in the Champions League. If we manage to score...", says defender Hannu Tihinen. "We knew from the beginning that this was a tough group. Okay, we have lost against Chelsea and Betis. But we did not play bad at all. We do not need to worry too much. Why wouldn't we be able to win against Liverpool?"

The absence of star defender Vincent Kompany does not frighten Tihinen. "We all know his skills. But Mark De Man also is a strong defender."

The Argentinian striker Frutos will also be in the audience during Anderlecht - Liverpool.
