Update Chen and Frutos

"Nicolas Frutos is really Jan Koller's clone", said Van Holsbeeck. Anderlecht manager is obviously very enthusiast after his trip to Argentina.

"We have been following Frutos for a few months. He is our number one for a striker's place. Negociations are going well. The transfer is not winded up yet but it looks all right".

"It will cost us a lot of money, something like 2 or 3 millions euro, but it is reasonable for such a player who is at the end of his contract in 2006".

Nicolas Alejandro Frutos will probably come to Anderlecht in January 2006 but Anderlecht manager is still looking at other talents: "I am really seduced by many players".

"Johan Boskamp once told me to really go there and see these players. I know his love for the Argentinian football and now I understand better why".

If Frutos comes in Brussels, Anderlecht will have many strikers. "In november we will make an evalution of the squad. Nobody should leave but we have to keep in mind that some players will leave us before the season 2006-2007".

Van Holsbeeck also confirms the interest in Chinese player Chen (20): "He has made a good impression. Commercially and sportively speaking, Chen can bring us a lot. I am now waiting for a signal of his manager Dirk De Vriese so that we can wind up the negociations".
