13 players on international duty

Franky Vercauteren will have to miss 13 players on training the upcoming week. Not only the Belgian players Proto, Vanden Borre, Deschacht, Goor, Vanderhaeghe, Mpenza, Legear, De Man are called up by their home country.

Also Serhat Akin, Besnik Hasi, Christian Wilhelmsson, Michal Zewlakow and Anatoli Gerk will leave Anderlecht temporarily because of international duties.
