Bellman says farewell to Anderlecht

TRANSFERS Just under a year after he suffered a serious knee injury, Henrik Bellman has said goodbye to Anderlecht on Instagram. Where his future lies is not yet known.


Bellman joined the Futures in the winter of last season. He then signed a contract until the end of the season. The Swede was immediately a regular, but on April 8 last year he suffered a serious knee injury. Since then, the now 25-year-old midfielder did not return to action.

Below is the farewell message Bellman posted on Instagram:

My time at RSC Anderlecht is coming to an end, at least for this time. It was my great pleasure and I was incredibly proud every time I got the chance to put on the purple jersey.

My year at Anderlecht had a huge positive impact on me and even though I got injured, I will look back on that period with a big smile. I feel honored to have played and shared the locker room with such great players and personalities.

I want to thank everyone in and around the club: the staff, the players and the fans. You welcomed me into the Sporting family with open arms and made me feel like one of you. I will never forget that.
