GAMES In a friendly game, Anderlecht played a 2-2 draw on the field of Zulte Waregem yesterday afternoon. At Anderlecht, many players who did not play a full match last weekend played in combination with players from the Futures. In the second half, Amuzu and Ashimeru, who were both out for a long time, made their return.
The friendly game was quite nice and Anderlecht dominated the early stages. After a rare Zulte attack, Vazquez was sent deep nicely and the Argentine finished coolly. But the game had barely resumed when Zulte got a lot of space, allowing Vormer to easily push the 1-1 goal. Even before the half hour, Zulte climbed into the lead through Machado. Anderlecht again increased the pressure and after a pass from Leoni, Vazquez was able to score again.
After halftime, Zulte had several big chances. There was a possible penalty error, Kikkenborg saved and the post stood in the way. At Anderlecht, Amuzu and Ashimeru came on, but Vazquez remained the most active player. However, neither club scored.
