Official: Lonwijk to Fortuna Sittard

TRANSFERS Justin Lonwijk is no longer a player of Anderlecht. The Dutchman's loan spell was terminated and Lonwijk signed with Fortuna Sittard today for six months. The Eredivisie number eleven is also renting him from Dinamo Kiev.


"With Lonwijk we bring in a player who can perform in several positions," technical manager Americo Branco told the Fortuna Sittard website. "Moreover, he has already shown his qualities in foreign competitions."

Lonwijk himself says he is happy to show his ability now in the Eredivisie. He said nothing about his stay with Anderlecht in a first reaction to his move to Fortuna.
