Helander: Odense wants double what Anderlecht offered

TRANSFERS 150,000 euros. That, according to La Dernière Heure, was the offer Anderlecht made to Odense to free defender Filip Helander. The Walloon newspaper reports that Odense has a transfer price of 300,000 euros in mind. Helander himself would welcome a transfer.

The 30-year-old Helander has played for Odense since late August and is still under contract there until the end of this season. He is a regular, but Odense dangles at the tail end of the standings. For that reason, he is interested in a move to Anderlecht, even if it is as a double.

In the last four international games, including the suspended game against Belgium, Helander was in the Swedish starting lineup.
