INTERVIEWS Thomas Kaminski last summer swapped Blackburn for Luton Town, newcomers to the Premier League. He was also briefly mentioned at his ex-club Anderlecht. A transfer he certainly had ears for, he tells Het Nieuwsblad.

"This summer there was brief talk of Anderlecjht, but not really concrete. I was open to it," the goalkeeper said. Kaminski tells how he was an Anderlecht supporter as a youngster and that he knows coach Brian Riemer from at FC Copenhagen.

Kaminski was under contract with Anderlecht from 2011 to 2016. Due to the presence of Silvio Proto, he only made it to 20 duels for the club. The last two seasons he was loaned to Famagusta and FC Copenhagen.

Via Kortrijk and Gent, Kaminski joined Blackburn Rovers in the English second division in 2020. Last summer, he transferred to Luton Town in the Premier League. There he is a base player and puts in strong performances.
