INTERVIEWS For the third time in four matches, Mario Stroeykens found his way to goal. The 19-year-old youth product is a puzzle piece that fits perfectly into Anderlecht's offensive picture. "It feels good to contribute to victory and take a step forward every week," he said.

In Het Nieuwsblad, Stroeykens says Anderlecht knew there would be a lot of space on the flanks and that Thorgan Hazard made good use of that in two goals. That purple-and-white played that match maturely after taking a lead, just like last week, makes Stroeykens very satisfied. "We also became very efficient," he said. "The last two goals were nicely played out actions where we did everything in one time."

Stroeykens himself started in the starting lineup for the fifth match in a row. But what if Theo Leoni had been fit? Would he have started then too? "The coach makes choices and it's up to me to take the chances when I get to play," said the attacking midfielder. "At the moment I am managing that well and I am efficient."

Stroeykens was also asked if they are already thinking about the national title at Anderlecht. "We don't talk about that in the locker room," is his answer. "We see week by week. We just want to take as many points as possible."
