Stroeykens: "We gave away match"

INTERVIEWS After the defeat against Standard, Mario Stroeykens was allowed to come and explain in front of DAZN Eleven's microphone. "We just gave the game away," he sighed. "During the second half we played very poorly."


"We knew Standard would push at the start of the second half and that it would be difficult," Stroeykens said. "At the first goal, we should have defended better. In such games, you have to do more. This is frustrating. In the second half, we failed to keep possession of the ball."
