15-year-old De Cat signs first pro contract

YOUTH Nathan De Cat signed a professional contract until mid-2025 with Anderlecht this afternoon. Barely 15 years old, the midfielder is considered one of the most promising players of his generation (2008) at Anderlecht. This season he is playing with the U18.


De Cat has been playing for Anderlecht since he was 10 years old. Before that, he played for KV Mechelen. "Nathan stands out for his technical skills, his running ability, passing and, thanks to these qualities, knows how to dictate the pace of a game," is how Anderlecht describes him.

The Cat already played four times for the Belgian U15.
