Official: Riemer head coach for two more years

OTHER Brian Riemer extended his contract as Anderlecht coach until 2026. The coach's current agreement ran until the end of this season. "Together we want to build further to bring this team and this club back where it belongs," CEO Sports Jesper Fredberg said.


Right on his 45th birthday, Riemer is extending his contract at Anderlecht, where the Dane has been in charge since November last year. 

"We as a club are building a project in which stability and continuity are important," responds CEO Sports Jesper Fredberg. "We know where we want to go with Brian and then it is also important to be clear about the near future. We appreciate Brian's hard work and commitment to this club and we want to continue building together to bring this team and this club back to where it belongs." 

"I am pleased with the confidence of the club," Riemer says. "We are only at the beginning of a journey where we will improve the team step by step and we have a clear vision of where we want to go. I can't wait to take the next steps with this team and this club."
