Ismaili signs first professional contract

YOUTH Behar Ismaili has signed his first professional contract with Anderlecht. The 18-year-old midfielder has committed to Anderlecht until mid-2025. The Albanian Belgian has been part of the RSCA Futures since last year.


Ismaili came to Anderlecht from Crossing Schaerbeek in 2017. Last year, he was allowed to fill in five times for the Futures in 1B. This season, he has not yet been in action.

Ismaili was born in 2005 in Preshevo, Serbia, near the border with Kosovo. He came to Belgium as a young child. He holds both Belgian and Albanian nationality. The midfielder is currently part of the Albanian U21, for which he has already played five matches.
