RSCA Futsal wins Super Cup

OTHER RSCA Futsal has clinched its first cup of the season. After a 5-1 win over Bilzen in the league opener on Friday night, Anderlecht beat Herentals 6-1 in Roosdaal yesterday.  Cainan was the top scorer of the day with 4 goals, while Saura and Edu also found the net. 


Coach Luca Cragnaz was obviously happy with the victory in the Supercup, even if the win came at a high cost to him. "It's my birthday and owe them a tournée génerale after that fantastic performance. Fortunately, I only celebrate my birthday once a year".

Captain Grello was delighted to hold up another trophy. "Collecting prizes remains our motivation. Of course we were the big favourites against Herentals, but it's always exciting".

The Final Four

Grello is aware that the bar will be set very high again this season. "We want to reach the Final Four again this season and we hope to do better than last year's fourth-place finish. Also in Belgium, of course, we have to become champions again. But that's not so easy, because the league has become tougher. I expect a lot of opposition, especially from Charleroi.
