"Lonwijk not ready for whole game yet"

INTERVIEWS New players Luis Vazquez and Justin Lonwijk are not quite ready for duty yet. Coach Brian Riemer told that at his press conference yesterday afternoon. Lonwijk is not quite ready conditionally. Vazquez is, but he still needs to get used to his new surroundings.


"Except for Murillo, everyone trained today, but some players are still uncertain. For them we have to wait and see tomorrow," Riemer opened his press conference yesterday afternoon.

The coach also received questions about the availability of new players Vazquez and Lonwijk. "Vazquez is fit, but has some integration problems. In the sense that he does not yet understand all the terms equally well in English. He also has to get used to a new style of play. He is fit and ready, but we still have to work on other things," Riemer said.

"For Justin it is different. He is not yet fit. He now had his full week of training since May. He is eligible for selection can play, but not 90 minutes. We had 7.5 weeks to get the others ready. Now we would have to do the same with Justin in one week, of course that won't work."
