Murillo starts Gold Cup with win and assist

GAMES Amir Murillo started the Concacaf Gold Cup well with Panama. Panama won the first match 1-2 against Costa Rica. Murillo gave the assist on the second goal. The defender played the whole match.


The Gold Cup is a country tournament with teams from North and Central America. Panama also plays against Martinique (1 July) and El Salvador (5 July).

In the run-up to the Gold Cup, Panama played three friendly games. In the game against Nicaragua (3-2 win), Murillo scored twice.
