OTHER Frank Boeckx is quitting as goalkeeper trainer at RSC Anderlecht due to private circumstances. A difficult decision according to Boeckx himself but the knot had to be cut.

Boeckx will be on the bench for the last time on Sunday against Eupen. For now, his place will be filled internally but talks with a definitive successor are in progress. The club will communicate about this at a later date.

Frank Boeckx:

"This was a very difficult decision because I have always committed myself with great enthusiasm and I have full confidence in the direction the club is going. I have two teams close to my heart: Anderlecht and my family. My family needs me a little more now. I want to thank the club for the opportunities they have given me and I will always continue to support RSC Anderlecht."

CEO Sports Jesper Fredberg:

"Frank is a beloved figure within the club, given his record as a former first-team goalkeeper and his role in recent years with both the RSCA Futures and the first team. We tried to find a solution to keep Frank on board, but we respect his wish and that of his family. Either way, we are very grateful for his commitment, and we hope to see him back soon."
