That Aruna will leave Anderlecht after this season is already known. But what we don't know yet, is how he will leave: in friendship or after a fight with the board?

"If Anderlecht block his transfer again, he will use all means to get free", said Serge Trimpont, Aruna's manager. This means as much as Aruna using the 1978 law (= a Belgian law that offers the possibility to players close to the end of their contract to buy themselves out and leave for free). Mendoza (Brugge) already did this last year.
"But this isn't the case yet", stresses Trimpont. "We don't want a war with Anderlecht. We will negociate and make our point of view clear."

That brings us to another important question: how much will Aruna cost? In August, Anderlecht wanted 12 million euro, in January, that price dropped to 6 million.
Manager Herman Van Holsbeeck still didn't name a price: "We will discuss that with Aruna and his manager."

That manager, Serge Trimpont, was quite clear about that yesterday: "Aruna will leave for the lowest price possible. Anderlecht have had a chance to make money on his transfer, but they wanted to keep him. They have to face the consequences now."
