Overview internationals: three wins

GAMES For six Anderlecht players, international soccer was on the program yesterday. Five of them celebrated a victory. Only Kristian Arnstad had to be satisfied with a draw. An overview.


Panama and Amir Murillo won with 2-3 against Honduras. Panama fell behind 2-0, but caused a major turnaround in the last quarter of the game. Murillo played the whole match. After this victory Panama is fourth in the qualifying round. This place gives the right to barrage matches. There are still seven of the fourteen matches to play.

Ivory Coast defeated Mozambique with 4-0. Christian Kouamé remained on the bench. With one match left to play, Ivory Coast leads in the group with one point more than Cameroon. Tuesday the two countries will decide among each other who will win the group and play play off matches for the World Cup.

The Belgian U19 defeated Luxembourg with 5-1. Zeno Debast played the whole game and got a yellow card. Nils De Wilde came on after 72 minutes. Mario Stroeykens remained on the bench.

The Norwegian U19 played a 1-1 draw against Slovakia. Kristian Arnstad played in the match.
