Lavia in CL selection Manchester City

OTHER Things are going fast for Romeo Lavia. The 17-year-old youth product of Anderlecht, who made the switch to Manchester City last summer, is part of the selection of 22 players that Manchester City submitted for the Champions League. Lavia is the only youngster among a multitude of big names.


Walker, Stones, Dias, De Bruyne, Gundogan, Grealish, Bernardo Silva, Jesus, Sterling, ... Nothing but beautiful people in the selection that Pep Guardiola submitted for the Champions League. However, the 22 also includes a name unknown to the outside world: Romeo Lavia.

Barely a year after his switch and at the age of 17, Lavia can measure himself with the big boys. Last season he became champion with City in the U23 league and was named the best player. This season he is training full-time with the first team. He hasn't got any playing minutes yet, but it looks like it won't be long.
