Investigators carry out searches

OTHER The court is still investigating the sale of RSC Anderlecht to Marc Coucke. He was give the preference above Ghelamco boss Paul Gheysens to buy the club. Even though Gheysens' offer was 11 million euros higher. As part of that investigation, the investigators carried out two house searches.


Investigators entered law firms Clifford Chance in Brussels and Van Landuyt & Vennoten in Dilbeek, where ex-Anderlecht lawyer Luc Deleu works. The offices also confirm the search and say they fully cooperate.

The court mainly wants to check whether certain parties have deliberately been disadvantaged during the sale.
