Anderlecht paid Bayat 5.5 million euros in three years

OTHER Mogi Bayat did not earn as much money from any club as from Anderlecht. Between 1 January 2015 and 1 January 2018, SO before the arrival of Marc Coucke, Bayat was involved in forty transactions at Anderlecht. That earned him 5.5 million euros.


Het Nieuwsblad could see Bayat's figures before he was arrested as part of Operation Proper Hands. The figures given are 'white'. How much he also earned in black is not clear.

Bayat did most of the transactions with AA Gent: 47 in three years. This is followed by Anderlecht (40), Zulte Waregem (35), Racing Genk (26) and Udinese (11). Bayat only cooperated in six files for Club Brugge. That earned him 647,350 euros.

Striking: in those 3 years, Bayat only did business twice with Standard. Today, the Rouches are his best customer. This summer he brought in no fewer than five players and earned 1 million euros from the outgoing transfer from Moussa Djenepo.
