Zetterberg: "New coach is a crucial choice"

OTHER RSC Anderlecht is still looking for a new coach. The transfer committee has a profile on paper. Now the theory still has to be put into practice: "A crucial choice", according to Pär Zetterberg.



The time when one man decided about a transfer is over at Anderlecht. Now there is a transfer committee with Frank Arnesen and Zetterberg who are there for their football knowledge. Marc Coucke and Michaël Verschueren keep an eye on the financial aspect. Jean Kindermans makes sure that no talents are blocked and especially the latter is an important aspect.

"Jean knows our youth academy best. If we discuss a certain type of player, Jean is also the man who knows whether that type is already in our youth. He makes sure that our talents in youth are not blocked by incoming transfers," said Zetterberg, "That is why the choice of the new trainer is crucial. He must want to work with the youth and must know the culture of the club."
