INTERVIEWS Throwing in the towel, Marc Coucke is not thinking about it yet. Despite all the difficulties, the chairman is more than ever motivated to bring RSC Anderlecht back to where it belongs, the top.

"I have sixteen companies, these are economic projects. Anderlecht are not, that is a challenge, the challenge to make it an institution again. But I also have to keep in mind that the club remains financially sound. I have good intentions with this club. But the financial reality is there and we can't ignore that ", Coucke is honest.

"In Belgian football, the revenues are not that high and we will probably be able to forget European football now," the chairman continues, "I don't think that's great, but I take my responsibility, mistakes have happened in the past. So it remains that we have to get our income from sponsoring, business seats and VIPs. "
