YOUTH - INTERVIEWS Anderlecht saw this summer youth scout Urbain Haesaert leave for Ajax. In Het Nieuwsblad, Haesaert tells us today why he left Anderlecht. "I lacked respect and they wanted to modernize my entire database, on which I have been working on since 1999."

Haesaert means the word 'modernization' ironically. That was how it was explained to him. "They wanted to make it easier, but the result was five A4 pages instead of one, which was no longer workable for me. Those people know a lot about computers, but they know little about football."

Who 'those people' are, is not immediately clear. According to Het Nieuwsblad, head of youth training Kindermans thinks he is a big loss for the club. Haesaert himself indicates that Emilio Ferrera, last season coach of the U21, was a fan of his way of working. "He found my tools and reports incredible."

When Haesaert left Anderlecht, Ajax immediately came up to get him back. The day before yesterday, Haesaert watched the U21 match between Anderlecht and AA Gent for Ajax. Haesaert gives the players he scout a score from 0 to A, for which A stands for rare class. "One of the transfers from Anderlecht that played along with the U21 on Monday got a 0", according to Haesaert. Haesaert does not want to say a name, but it has to be Luka Adzic or Kristal Abazaj.
