INTERVIEWS Hein Vanhaezebrouck was hard for his experienced players after the game against Club Brugge. "We lacked maturity and experience in places where I did not expect it", Vanhaezebrouck referred to his central midfielders.

Sebastiaan Bornauw and especially Francis Amuzu had a difficult afternoon against Club Brugge, but like Alexis Saelemaekers they got praise from their coach. "If I only had eleven players like them", Vanhaezebrouck told afterwards. "Then maybe we got a point. Francis is making good progress."

"We lost the battle in the midfield, just the place where we have the most experience", Vanhaezebrouck referred to Trebel and Makarenko. Although he did not mention their names. "How much space did we not give Vormer and Vanaken at the second goal, you can not give them that, and at the 1-0 we let a Dennis who is 1.75 meters big to head in. I did not expect this."

Bringing Najar and Bakkali didn't changed a lot. "I brought them to make actions, but the power play that was played back is nothing for them. They were there and were just watching", says Vanhaezebrouck.
