The most expensive starting eleven in Belgian history

OTHER When we were searching for the most expensive outgoing transfers of Anderlecht, in advance to the transfer of Leander Dendoncker, we noticed that many of those top transfers have been on the field together. We searched for the starting eleven that finally earned Anderlecht the most money.


Of the ten most expensive outgoing transfer from the history of Anderlecht, six once stood on the field together. It is the most expensive team ever to play in the Jupiler Pro League. And that will probably continue for a while. 24 May 2015: Anderlecht - AA Gent.
 
Besnik Hasi chose the following eleven names: Proto, Acheampong, Deschacht, Mbemba, Najar, Tielemans, Dendoncker, Defour, Praet, Leya Iseka & Mitrovic
 
Anderlecht eventually let Deschacht and Proto go for free. Najar still plays for Anderlecht. The eight other players, however, brought in a fortune.
 
Leya Iseka left Anderlecht this summer for 1.25 million euros + a percentage on the resale. For Acheampong, Anderlecht eventually received 6.5 * million euros, while Defour left the Astridpark for 8.6. Praet yielded ten million euros, Mbemba even twelve.
 
Anderlecht received the nice sum of 14 million euros for Dendoncker. That is a lot less than the 18.5 for Mitrovic and 25 for Tielemans.
 
Together that's good for an amount of 95.85 million euros. Depending on the resale percentage on Leya Iseka and whether purple-white still cashes for Najar, that amount may eventually exceed the hundred million mark.
