"Frank finally understood how to play"

INTERVIEWS Frank Acheampong scored seven goals out of nine matches and is the key player at Anderlecht the last few weeks. Since he is playing as a left midfielder, he is unstoppable. "Finally he is performing well", coach Hasi reacts.

When Acheampong arrived in January 2013 he could show some impressive statistics. He scored 32 times out of 65 matches at Buriram United and was a big star. However, he had more trouble showing his skills at Anderlecht. "He is a fast runner, but that's about it", was a frequent comment. It looks like he recently made a metamorphosis.

"Frank finally understood how to play", Hasi states. "It seems like his timing has seriously improved, and it was about time. He has been here for a long time and finally he is showing he can be important for us."

Acheampong's manager Oliver König understands Besnik Hasi but has a reply to these words. "Maybe it is the coach who didn't know how to deal with Frank's skills. Anyhow, the truth will probably be somewhere in the middle."
