Van Holsbeeck: "Hasi will finish the season"

INTERVIEWS The Anderlecht board showed its confidence in coach Besnik Hasi after the victory against KV Kortrijk. "The players showed they are still behind the coach. That means he will for sure stay until the end of the season", manager Van Holsbeeck confirms.

The Anderlecht board put Hasi under pressure last week, which he did not appreciate. "Maybe we could have communicated things a bit differently, but on the other hand Hasi also said things we did not fully agree with. After Mouscron, he said he didn't know what to do anymore."

"However we never doubted Besnik Hasi. There was never a plan B, our plan A was to win against Kortrijk. We didn't look out for a new coach."

The board confirms its confidence now but it is clear what Hasi has to do if he wants to stay head coach of Anderlecht. "Besnik knows our ambition. Only one thing is important in the Belgian league: the title."
