INTERVIEWS Roger Vanden Stock criticized Anthony Vanden Borre and especially his manager Fouad Ben Kouider. The manager is upset by the statements of Vanden Stock and replies to him.

"Last December I went to Herman Van Holsbeeck and asked him the conditions for Vanden Borre to leave. Van Holsbeeck said he could go for free, but they wanted a percentage on a future transfer of the player. Kasimpasa were interested but all of a sudden Anderlecht asked 1 million Euros again. So they pulled back their interest."

"I proposed Herman that Vanden Borre would offer his apologies. He agreed. Van Holsbeeck searched for a team for my client, but in vain. So I was hoping we could discuss a possible return of Vanden Borre to the first team. However, Anderlecht are still looking to sell him. Anthony only wants to go to a top team, he wants to play on the European Championship", claims Fouad Ben Kouider.

Anthony Vanden Borre still has a contract at Anderlecht but is invisible in the stadium. "Anthony is training with a personal coach. You cannot punish him forever. Either Anderlecht work on a transfer to a team that can afford his current salary, either they pay him for the rest of his contract period."
