Vanden Borre allowed to return to the A-team, but ...

OTHER Anthony Vanden Borre is still playing for the reserves after the devastating interview he gave in the newspapers. But the club realises he cannot stay there. The player earns about 800.000 euro per year and leaving him in the U21 team, would mean the destruction of his financial value.

Therefore he is allowed to return to the first team, but not just yet. First of all, the rest of the team has to agree with his return. There he would have to make a public excuse for his behaviour. Secondly, he'll have to stay 'low profile'. This means he has to show an excellent behaviour and stay stear away from all forms of non-sportive attention.

Vanden Borre's return is not for the upcoming weeks though. The defender was not added to Anderlecht's selection for the Europa League.
