Gillet already dreaming of match against Bayern Munich

Tomorrow, Guillaume Gillet makes his debut for Anderlecht in a European competition. The midfielder is already dreaming of the next round, which would be a match against German giants Bayern Munich


"This will be the most important match of my life. I already played Intertoto with AA Gent, but this is different. And yes, my confidence is very high. Everything is going for me these past weeks. When I just played for Gent, it was the same, apparently I adjust very easily to a new environment."

"My ideal score for tomorrow? I would sign for a 1-0 victory, but a 0-0 draw would be OK as well." says the 22 year old.

Gillet is keeping his feet on the ground, but could not hide his excitement at a possible clash with Bayern, "If we eliminate Bordeaux, we will play against Bayern München, which will probably beat Aberdeen. It would be a dream come true. Because of my dad, I'm a Bayern supporter since I was just a kid.

"I don't even dare to think about it,(but) I'm only 180 minutes away from playing my absolute dream match. I already have Daniël Van Buyten's jersey, but I hope I can collect some more"
