"Halmstad doesn't belong in the Champions League". This is what chairman Roger Vanden Stock said, according to some newspapers.
"The chairman sometimes says something he better keeps for himself", said Anthuenis.

Despite the victory against Halmstad, almost a small fight threatened Anderlecht.
Vanden Stock said some terrible things about the stadium of Halmstad and it was used there to inspire the players. But apperently the media used it in a wrong way. They took the words out of their context...
Vanden Stock reacted furious. "I haven't read anything yet, but I haven't said that Halmstad isn't worth to play in the Champions League!"
With this, Vanden Stock reacted on the media, but he was of course extremely happy with the victory.

Just like Aimé Anthuenis, but he stayed carefull.
"We have pay attention", he said. We had an extremely difficult first half. We were completely lost in the first half and that's why I intervented soon in the defence."
"Halmstad has a strong defence, but we prouved that we have fighting spirit and we scored 3 times that way. But we have to be carefull with their high balls in front of the goal. You have be strong or problems will follow. Wednesday, the referee was bad and this made it difficult for us in our box."
But Anderlecht couldn't answer the situation with good football. The reaction of Anthuenis was:"We lost Koller, Radzinski, Goor and Dheedene. Wednesday, Doll, Stoica and Baseggio were injured. This means that you have to play with a totally different team. I don't doubt the qualities of our guys, but they have to get used to each other. This asks for more time then we had until now."

Mornar wasn't surprised that he scored. He was extra motivated, because he had to start from the bench.
"Logical", he said. "I can understand that because I played bad against Westerlo. I love some competition. I hope Jestrovic returns soon. It would also be good for the team."
The altruism of the Croatian looked well meant. He could look back on a nice goal, but also on a very good center on Aruna, and this only in the 11 minutes he played.
"I'm happy indeed", he said. "It was my first goal for Anderlecht. I couldn't score before. I have my way of playing. The other players have to get used to it too."
The fact that Anderlecht will probably make it to the Champions League makes Mornar very happy.
"Precicely that made my choose for Anderlecht. Champions League gives me an extra kick and that's where you dream of as a soccer player. I stimulates you."
