Anderlecht, Standard, Genk, Gent and Lierse are prepared to pay Lommel's debts. Club Brugge, members of G5, didn't join the other clubs in this proposal, as expected. Anderlecht will stay second by this.

If Lommel and their results are cut, Lokeren will gain 3 points.
Lierse, not a member of the G5, are paying too. The club could, just like RSCA, be disadvantaged if Lommel disappears. "We have to guarentee a fair and normal league", said chairman Gaston Vets.
"The profliga couldn't come to an agreement, so we'll handle things ourselves."
