Wesley Sonck wins "Gouden Schoen"

Wednesday evening, Wesley Sonck of Racing Genk, was elected as the best player in the Belgian League and therefore he received the "Gouden Schoen" (Golden Shoe) from Pele. Red Devil Sonck is currently the best striker with 21 goals.


Sonck ended up before Gert Verheyen (Club Brugge, 180 points) and Walter Baseggio (Anderlecht, 139 points).
Koller ended 5th, Vanderhaeghe 6th, De Wilde 9th and Goor 10th.
