Anderlecht coach Vercauteren has heaped praise on his ex-assistant and current Cercle Bruges coach Glen De Boeck. The two will face eachother in tomorrow's game. "I always expected Glen to become head coach."

"It will be a dangerous match for us," commenced Frank Vercauteren. "Cercle is a team in a winning mood. The team is balanced and has a lot of offensive potential."

"I always expected Glen to become a head coach. He took the job sooner than I expected. It was obvious he was very ambitious when he was still my assistant. He managed to add some swing to Cercle, yet he will be confronted with difficulties at one point as well."

Offensive difficulties is what the Anderlecht coach is currently confronted with. Ahmed Hassan is sitting out a suspension while Boussoufa, Serhat and Mpenza are not fit to play. "When you're missing Hassan you miss a bit of creativity. Normally boussoufa could fill in that task but he's injured. It will depend on the quality we bring if we'll beat Cercle Bruges," concludes Vercauteren.
