Several Anderlecht players had interland duty this weekend. As already known, only Bart Goor played for the Belgian national team. Jelle Van Damme was on the bench. Tihinen (ex-Anderlecht) played for Finland.


Marcin Wasilewski replaced Michal Zewlakow (ex-Anderlecht) during the pause of Poland-Kazachstan. Poland won with 3-1. Roland Juhasz, playing for Hungary, defeated Malta with 2-0. Juhasz played 90 minutes and took a yellow card. Just like Belgium, his country is already eliminated.

Egypte qualified for the Africa Cup. Ahmed Hassan didn't play due to suspension. Mbark Boussoufa will also participate the Africa Cup with his country, Morocco.

The Belgian youth team defeated Slovakia with 4-2. Legear was absent due to an injury. Lamah, Anderlecht-player on loan in Holland, played for 40 minutes.

The Belgian U19 team, with Cor Gillis and Vadis Odjidja Ofoe, defeated Romania with 4-0 on Friday. Though they lost with 1-3 against Iceland. Sébastien Bruzzese was on the bench.
