"Mornar didn't leave because there was a problem between him and me. We talked about what went wrong", said Anderlecht-coach Hugo Broos.

"For Mornar it was important that he could get a very good financial deal at the end of his career", said Broos. "Anderlecht just couldn't offer him more."
"His leave is a big loss. If we had a two-point lead on Standard, we would have done more efforts to keep him. But he wanted to leave and whether it was then good to keep him? I'm happy for him." In Anderlecht, Mornar leaves. In Bruges, probably Mendoza leaves. They both are topscorer of their team.
"But there's a difference between both players", says Broos. "It seems to me that Club wants to get rid of Mendoza, and that wasn't what we wanted. Mornar's leave will leave a big gab."
It's good that Jestrovic returns in 3 or 4 weeks. He said before New Year that he almost was fit, so I will count on him from the end of Februari on. He will have no excuses. But I know him, and I know he will do everything to come back on his old level."
