Cyril Théréau officially presented

Cyril Théréau, the new acquisition of Anderlecht, has offcially been presented at the Constant Vanden Stock stadium. The French striker was handed the shirt number 15.


Théréau is more than happy with the transfer. "I'm now playing for the best club in Belgium, this is the best thing that could happen to me," said the striker who was playing in the French third division merely a year ago. "I know that there will be a lot of pressure but that's normal at a big club."

Current Anderlecht scout Raymond Mommens, who brought the striker to Charleroi last year, played a big role in the transfer. "We had the rapports of his four games at Charleroi and his statistics at Steaua Bucharest, but it was Mommens who assured us of Théréau's talent," said general manager Van Holsbeeck.

Théréau will commence training at the club today.
