Deschacht: “Cup and title are both important”

“We talk about the Belgian Cup and the title. They are both important to us.” Deschacht admits that Anderlecht want a new success in the Belgian Cup. “We play against Standard and we are always motivated against them.”


1997 was the last year that Anderlecht played the finale of the Belgian Cup and in 1994 Anderlecht won the Cup for the last time. Time for some change. “We don’t have a problem to stay concentrated on the Cup. There aren’t much players that have already won a final of the Cup. The title and the Cup are both important. We want to play at the Heizel”, admits Deschacht.
