Decision new stadium pushed to april 16th

A meeting was held yesterday to discuss the topic of the new stadium with the local merchants. Mayor Simonet claimed a relocation is in order. An ultimate decision, however, has been pushed to april 16th.


At that time the result of a legal study will be known. Three locations are still in the running, but Vanden Stock and Simonet would like to see a new stadium in Neerpede. Simonet hopes the stadium will be ready in 2013. The price is estimated to be around 200 million euro.
