Reactions after the cup game

The result and the good game made the players happy. The players have their faith back. Sporza gathered the following reactions after the excellent football game of Sporting.


Bart Goor: “We wanted to show that we are the best team in Belgium. And it worked out pretty fine. We played wonderful. 6-0 is a great result. I’m sure that Genk is not going to admit it, but it will be hard to accept. It was nice for us to play the way we played today.”

Olivier Deschacht: “They don’t have to say that they played with a B-team. I haven’t seen B-players today. We have beaten Genk and that’s it. Our faith is back after this game and that’s the most important thing.”

Mbark Boussoufa: “We enjoyed the whole game. I have seen a lot of good things. The team did a great job, we are getting in shape.”
