Neighbourhood worried about new CVDS Stadium

Anderlecht are most likely to build a new stadium in Neerpede, although there is still a chance that the current Constant Vanden Stock Stadium will be expanded. Nevertheless, the first option is worrying the neighbourhood.


A possible move would make a big difference for the dozens of bars, pubs, restaurants and cafés around the current stadium. Annie Sergeant, bartender of La Ruche, is negative about the future. "If the stadium moves away, all pubs in the neighbourhood will have to close. The stadium should stay here, or else the last piece of soul will be torn away from us."
